The Next Shape
Kicking off my new series for 2026, Inside the Shape Shift...
It’s been a little while since my last Substack, so this is a longer post... My final post in December closed out the formless™ methodology series with Step 4: Active Recovery, which felt fitting for both the end of 2025 and the completion of that particular cycle.
The past few months have been a more accelerated version of the formless™ cycle, continuously moving through all four steps. This created space to release, reimagine, create, reshape, reflect and integrate again and again, allowing me to notice what had truly landed over time. Having the distance to look at everything across my life, leadership and business from the inside out, more deeply, was exactly what I needed, and it also showed me how much I have evolved.
(You can watch my full 5 minute video to kick off the new series here: Inside the Shape Shift series kick off)
2026, already feels so energetically different. It has started fast, and at times it feels like a sprint to keep up, even when you are running your personal best, while on other days it feels more like a long marathon, where you take one step in front of the other and move at a pace that actually works for you rather than trying to keep up with everything around you. I’m focusing on what works for me to avoid burning out.
As part of that continued evolution, it’s been interesting to notice how life syncs when you are ready and often when you least expect it. I had the opportunity to be interviewed for a national newspaper about my IVF journey, with the hope it might support other women and help reshape current regulations that can make the process so very difficult, both emotionally and financially. This interview allowed me to finally complete a chapter of my book and feel at peace.
I also went deeper into being formless, reading Be Water, My Friend, the teachings of Bruce Lee, which reinforced the idea of fluidity as a path to both resilience and whole-being. Marley Bob and I were gifted an energy aura reading by one of my amazing client partners, which was fascinating and reminded me how important it is to notice what genuinely energises us and what does not in all that we do.
Marley Bob, my Chief Energy Officer, keeps me honest about rhythm, recovery, and the occasional reminder that a walk and play outside solves more than continuing to keep going at something when you need a pattern interrupt and some fresh perspective.
What also became clearer during this time is where my business is headed, my mission, and that the creation of my formless™ methodology was never simply something to explain step by step. It is a way of seeing what founders, CEOs, Investors, leadership teams and businesses are actually navigating in real time.
Because the real work always happens inside the moments leaders and businesses face every day, the tension between ambition, identity and alignment, growth either stalling or accelerating, rising and emerging complexity, and the interplay between energy, purpose and performance, and the quiet realisation that something which once worked no longer fits in quite the same way.
These moments are increasingly revealing themselves as inflection points, opportunities to shift and reshape in ways that better support sustainable and regenerative growth in a rapidly changing world.
The more conversations I’ve had through the Flow Driven CEO and Flow Driven VC podcasts, now over 300 globally since last February, the more consistent the patterns become, and the clearer the shifts are across founders, CEOs, investors, next-generation leaders and teams navigating and reshaping life, leadership and business from the inside out.
This is where shape shifting begins, not through forced reinvention, but by allowing identity, energy and strategy to realign before expansion continues.
It is also where I see Soulful High Flow Conscious Leadership™ become essential, where people, presence, purpose and performance remain interconnected rather than pulling leaders in different directions.
Interestingly, the science continues to point to the same pattern. Flow science, neuroscience, subtractive psychology, human potential and self-actualisation all show that sustainable performance rarely comes from adding more pressure. It comes from removing friction, restoring alignment and allowing energy, clarity, creativity and innovation to return.
In fact, one of the clearest patterns I hear in conversations with leaders is that the breakthrough rarely comes from doing more. It arrives when something unnecessary is finally removed, whether you were ready for it or not, and that’s where the real shift takes place.
This new series explores what actually happens inside the formless™ methodology through the inflection points leaders, teams and businesses encounter, and the decisions, tensions, transitions and shape shifts they are navigating every day.
I’m calling it Inside the Shape Shift.
This series will explore the moments where identity feels blurred, growth starts costing more than it should, complexity stretches teams and culture, ambition quietly outruns alignment, and rushing begins to replace clarity.
These are the places where the formless™ cycle is unfolding in real time, whether we recognise it or not.
Learn (Letting go)
Unlearn (Reimagine, create and reshape)
Relearn (Test and implement)
Active Recovery (Reflect, recalibrate and reset)
Leadership and business today are less about maintaining a fixed shape and more about recognising when it is time to shift and reshape.
Alongside each piece, I’ll also share a Real-Time Shape Shift Tool. A practical recalibration grounded in the patterns I am seeing across founders, CEOs, leadership teams and investors, and supported by insights from flow science, neuroscience and subtractive psychology.
I’m excited to share this with you. Inside the Shape Shift begins this week, starting with:
When emerging complexity replaces clarity and identity begins to blur.
I have also created a new subsection within Substack and will be sharing a weekly Flow Driven conversation from my podcasts.
Lastly, the world does feel really heavy right now, and with so much uncertainty, knowing how to respond is not always easy. So if you are feeling that weight, I’ll leave you with this to open up what’s possible, more than ever:
Empty your mind.
Be formless, shapeless, like water.
You put water into a cup, it becomes the cup.
You put water into a teapot, it becomes the teapot.
You put it into a bottle, it becomes the bottle.
Now water can flow or it can crash.
Be water, my friend.
Have a bright week and look out for 1st of the series that will go live this Thursday.
Sending you formless vibes,
Bee 💜🐝
